PURPOSE:

Before your begin learning new vocabulary and sentence structure grammar, it is important that you review lessons, grammar, and vocabulary from ASL I. You should be able to correctly comprehend voice-to-sign* and use voice-to-sign* vocabulary and grammar from ASL I appropriately.

 
CULTURAL SPOT: Number stories have been passed down from generation to generation. You will observe a number story.
  
* Voice-to-sign means an English word or phrase is spoken and you use a sign and grammar structure which best fits the concept and meaning of that English word.

* Sign-to-voice means a sign or facial expression is made and you say out loud what the "gloss" (English word) for that sign is.
