TASK 5   LOCATION AGREEMENT AND TIME OF DAY
 
PURPOSE:

How to place things (locating things) and refer back to them in your signing is an important aspect of ASL. The effective use of this technique makes a difference in whether of not you use appropriate ASL grammar. At the completion of this unit, you should be able to place and refer back appropriately (use location agreement) and set up time of day with accuracy.

 
CULTURAL SPOT: Publishing magazines and newspapers specifically for Deaf audiences has been important in the Deaf community for many years. There continue to be journals, magazines and newspapers designed for members of the Deaf community.
