My family lives at 32009 Tamarack Lane. Each morning they get up early because they have to drive to work. My father drives 50 miles round trip. He drives on two bridges. My mother drives along the river to her job.

In September, 1987, my mother was driving the blue car to work. Suddenly, the motor of her car stopped. Her day was ruined, she thought. A nice woman named Barbara stopped and offered her a ride. She accepted. Barbara said she was famous because she was in movies a few years ago. Mom arrived at work at the right time because Barbara helped her.

My mom called my dad and told her what happened. He asked if she was okay. She said yes, but that she needed a ride home. He said he would come at 5:30 p.m.
