Compass Test Info for International Students

The best preparation for the COMPASS Reading and Writing tests, which are required before you can enroll in SFCC classes, is to practice taking the tests. This computer-based test is different from most other English language tests you have taken, so it is important that you become familiar with the test beforehand. Doing so will allow you to use your time and energy on the actual testing day to focus on the texts themselves.
