Associated Student Government President KimMe Castillo will resign
her position on Thursday April 19 before the SFCC Student Senate.
Castillo no longer has the passion to continue in her position,
according to District 1 Senator Kylie Lewis. She will be replaced
by Academic Vice President Chris Jackson, who Castillo hopes will
be more invested in the job, according to Lewis.
Castillo has served as the position since March 2, 2006 following
the resignation of Danny Hubert, and was officially elected by the
SFCC student body in May. Castillo is the third AS President to
resign since the start of the 2005-2006 Academic year.
