CHEM 100

This chemistry course, offered in Fall 2005, is part of a 10-credit learning community program combines Chemistry and English Composition to provide an integrated learning experience. On the one hand, writing projects are designed to help students grasp chemistry concepts and gain a more thorough understanding. On the other hand, relevant topics in chemistry allow students to hone writing skills. This paired course satisfies requirements in both the laboratory science and communication skills distributions of the AA (associate of arts) degree.
