Course Description
This class explores productivity applications emphasizing the skills needed for the working IT professional. Specific applications include text editors, image editors, and office suites from both closed and open sources.

Students will...
- Install and configure common productivity applications including Microsoft Office and Open Office.
- Use online learning management systems and online training systems.
- Move text, data, and objects between text editor, image editor, word processor, spreadsheet, and database software.
- Create and manipulate image objects including charts, diagrams, screen captures, and graphics.
- Use spreadsheet functions to analyze data.
- Create a database including tables, relationships, forms, queries, and reports.
- Share files and collaborate with others using email and Web 2.0 technologies such as Office Live, iCalendar, and Instant Messenger.
