Description

This course is designed to explore the issues involved in setting up and maintaining an Internet server. The class looks at various configurations and services on multiple platforms.

Install and configure an IIS web server supporting on a Windows Server 2003 operating system.
Install and configure an Apache web server on a Linux operating system.
Install and configure php, mysql, and SMTP services.
Install and configure a Wiki application.
Manage FTP accounts and remote access.
Install and configure a Web host control panel.
Evaluate Web host services.
